Me and my husband came here for lunch buffet. The taste of food was good but the number of items were very less for the price. Other indian restaurants in the area are much better.

Just. Plain. Bad. Money better spent elsewhere. They had to work at it to make it this bad of an experience. As in food wise. They use a lot of microwave. That says a lot for a restaurant

Samosas were good. Ordered chilly chicken and karahi chicken, both were absolutely crappy. Service was good but food quality comes before service. My friends also told me that it's not that a good place but I still tried. I might go again if one of my friend forces me to. Else am not gonna eat there ever.

Cute place!!! Food was good, unfortunately, a little too salty, but with the right drink, you couldn't tell too much. Our service was great :)

It was decent, nothing outstanding except the tandoori chicken and the naan bread. The rice was subpar and both versions tasted like box rice. The lentils were bland. The service is excellent.

- Tasty / Authentic Indian Food You Can Enjoy The Tandoors Bar and Grill is a newly opened restaurant in Farmington Hills area. Being a great fan of Indian food, I have decided to try this place and so far I have been to Tandoors about 5 times. I don't th

We came here while there was a party going on and the service was awful. They could not handle having both a party to serve and other customers, which is why they should've shut down in order to concentrate on the party. Our waitress was inexperienced and did not know how to wait on us in a timely and professional manner. At one point in the night, after appetizers, we asked for new, clean silverware for the main meal and she responded with much hesitance, wanting us to keep the dirty ones and unwilling to give us new ones, but after much hesitance she relented. The appetizers were good, we especially enjoyed the garlic shrimp. But the main meal was not very good. The chicken was over cooked. After the service we got, we will not be returning here.

Very delicious food. Being a vegeterian, not very many dishes yet each dish had very unique authentic flavor with spices.Fresh warm tosty nans were brought to us. Great service. Would go again.

Went for lunch buffet. The food was gourmet! Limited dishes for buffet but no compromises in the food quality!

This is the first Indian restaurant that I have been to. Everything was delicious, fresh, and extremely flavorful. We were giving some thin crispy bread and what seemed like fried pita bread with 2 different sauces to dip in. One was a dark read that was sweet and spicy and the other was lime greem and was also spicy and had a lime flavor. It was an excellent starter. We ordered Paneer Makhani and Vegetarian Korma. Both of those dishes were suprisingly sweet and not spicy. Our food came with some Basmati Rice which paired really well. We also order their Garlic Naan and it was baked fresh. I would definitely go back to try other dishes and recommend this place to anyone.

This is my first visit to tandoors. They had special dinner buffet for valentines day. I wont say it is very special. Not lot of varieties on a special day. Items very less compared to other restaurant lunch buffets. Liked the dishes with goat meat. But some of the dishes had more coriander flavor in it. Desserts are okay kind.

went for the buffet on a weekday. food was just Meh. very few items and for a place called "tandoors", the tandoori chicken was pretty bad.

The food is very good and specially the tandoor dishes are amazing. But this place can really use some improvement in the service offered. It took almost 30 minutes to get our tandoor starter and the waiter seemed to suggest it was pretty normal, even though the place was almost deserted. Our only complain related to food was the garlic naan, I definitely had enough garlic for at least a couple of weeks. For a place that calls itself Tandoors, it's a sort of a let down. But rest of the food was good, hence the 4 stars.

This place was great the food was great and the spices were nicely calculated and the naan was buttery and delicious. This place is worth a visit or two

One of the best Indian lunch buffet I have had. Service is very good. Though ordering from menu can be tricky, most of the food I have tried have been great. If you want to try a no-holds chicken biryani, this is the place. The food is not hot but every bit Indian. If you are adventurous, I would even suggest ordering the biryani at top spice level. It will blow your mouth, stomach and brain.

The naan and mango lassi were very good. Everything else my digestion would have been better off without.

I welcome this new restaurant to a crowded Indian food scene in the area. Have eaten carry out and dine-in and both were exceeding of expectations. Carry out was on time, which is unusual for Indian fare it seems. Dishes were packed well, and intensely flavorful. They even added some cloves to the rice for a great aromatic addition. When we ate in house, we enjoyed the clean, modern interior, and everything was prepared and presented to a high level. Samosas were house-made, WONDERFUL Indo-Chinese Chili Chicken appetizer, and Baigan Bartha was a firm texture, not mushed down overcooked stew, and all dishes served with garnishes of carved radishes & carrots, kales for a appetizing presentation. Obvious commitment to the highest quality spices as the food is aromatic and flavorful, not just hot. All-in-all, this restaurant has arrived to the top of the Indian charts in the area, and deserves to be supported. We have found a new home for our Indian fix.

Superior food and service. Shrimp were tender, both in appetizer and entree. Mixed grill was excellent. Mango lassi also excellent. Nice atmosphere, much more pleasant than the dank Saffron nearby on Orchard Lake Rd. My wife who grew up in India concurs. Definitely we'll return, esp when their pending liquor license gets approved.
